By on March 3, 2014

AN ALERT was sent to parents at Wavell Heights State Primary School, warning them of a man seen acting suspiciously nearby.

The suspect trailed a Wavell High student to school, the primary school’s principal, John Cattoni, wrote in the letter.

The man was dressed in beige long pants and shirt, and appeared to be wearing a red wig with a cap, Mr Cattoni wrote on February 27.

Police were told of the incident, as were  local schools, he wrote.

The school reinforced the safety message to pupils, and urged parents to do the same at home.
