Pet cat killed with arrow

A PET cat was shot with an arrow and killed at Brighton last month, said police, who were investigating.

“Family members returned home around 9.15pm on Saturday April 12 to find the cat called Bella severely injured but still alive,” police reported.

“Bella, who was also deaf, was rushed to an emergency veterinarian at Stafford Heights but died on April 25.”

Police believed Bella might have been hit with an arrow sometime after 8pm in the Wakefield Park area which was close to the family’s Herbert St residence.
