Northgate to Shorncliffe track closure

RAIL users take note – tracks will be closed between Northgate and Shorncliffe stations on Brisbane north from 2am on Saturday, April 5, to the last service on Sunday, April 6, TransLink is warning. 

“Be sure to plan your journey in advance and allow for extra travel time (about 60 minutes) due to track works.”

But the ride to work on Monday should be OK, with train services returning to normal from the first service on Monday, April 7, TransLink advised online.

“Buses will replace trains in both directions between Northgate and Shorncliffe.”

TransLink also advised that from about  9.30pm to the last train on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, buses would replace trains between Roma St and Shorncliffe due to the track closure from Roma St to Eagle Junction and Ferny Grove.
