Median house prices climb in northeast Brisbane

MEDIAN house prices have increased almost across the board in northeast Brisbane, according to property information provider OnTheHouse.com.au.

The only two suburbs to drop in the period April to June this year compared to the same period last year were Bridgeman Downs and Fitzgibbon.

The suburb with the highest median on the list of 20 below is Northgate at $670,000, according to OnTheHouse.com.au.

ASPLEY: The property price index in the postcode 4034 for Apr to Jun 2014 is $427,474 based on 165 government verified sales. This represents a 8% increase when compared to the same period as last year.

In addition to this, compared to the same period last year, there was an increase of 58.7% in the number of properties sold from 104 to 165 recorded government verified sales.


BANYO: The median sales price in the suburb Banyo for Apr to Jun 2014 is $423,000 based on 33 government verified sales. This represents a 13.9% increase when compared to the same period as last year.

In addition to this, compared to the same period last year, there was an increase of 17.9% in the number of properties sold from 28 to 33 recorded government verified sales.


BRACKEN RIDGE: The property price index in the postcode 4017 for Apr to Jun 2014 is $445,640 based on 143 government verified sales. This represents a 12.9% increase when compared to the same period as last year.

In addition to this, compared to the same period last year, there was an increase of 26.5% in the number of properties sold from 113 to 143 recorded government verified sales.


BRIDGEMAN DOWNS: The median sales price in the suburb Bridgeman Downs for Apr to Jun 2014 is $600,000 based on 50 government verified sales. This represents a 4.8% decrease when compared to the same period as last year.

In addition to this, compared to the same period last year, there was an increase of 108.3% in the number of properties sold from 24 to 50 recorded government verified sales.
