Brisbane netball excels at state age championships

HIGH-5s and pats on the back have flowed freely after Brisbane Netball Association recorded its best result at this year’s Suzuki State Age Championship at Mudgeeraba on June 6-8.

The 16 Years Division 1 team finished first ahead of Shailer Park, and the 15 Years Division 1 girls were just pipped by Metropolitan Districts for the top spot on percentage countback.

The 18 Years secured a 5th, the 14s an 8th, and 13 Years finished 4th, Brisbane Netball Association administration manager Tamara Hall said.

“It’s our best result ever and we want to shout it from the rooftops,” Hall said.
