Armed robbery charges: Nundah, Aspley

UPDATE: Three men have been charged with a number of offences following investigations into an armed robbery that occurred in Nundah early Sunday morning, February 17, Brisbane police media said.

It would be alleged that around 2am, two men armed with firearms entered a licensed premises on Sandgate Rd and threatened staff members before stealing cash.

A glass panel was smashed during the incident, injuring a female employee.

It was further alleged that on February 7, three men armed with weapons robbed a League’s Club on Kirby Rd, Aspley.

It was alleged that two men armed with knives robbed a Waterford West Hotel on Kingston Rd on January 30, .

Police media said a 19-year old Inala man had been charged with eight counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of armed robbery, two counts of unlawful possession of weapons, and one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm and unlawful use of motor vehicle.

A 17-year old Inala man had been charged with with eight counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of armed robbery, and one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm and unlawful use of motor vehicle.

A 30-year old of no fixed address had been charged with four counts of deprivation of liberty, two counts of each of armed robbery and stealing, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary.

All three men are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday morning, February 17.
