Armed robber hits Virginia petrol station

POLICE were investigating the armed robbery of a service station in Virginia early on Monday, October 20.

Just before 1am, a man entered the Sandgate Rd business armed with a metal rod and demanded cash, police media reported.

“The attendant co-operated and the man ran off with an undisclosed sum of cash.

“The attendant was not physically injured during the incident.”

The man is described as 180cm tall, slim build with tan skin, police reported.
